About these terms
These terms are between you and Wispli (“we”, “us”), an AI automation agency based in Cairo, Egypt. “You” means the person or business that uses our website, works with us as a client or uses the Wispli apps.
They apply when you:
- Visit wispli.com.
- Work with us as a client, together with your proposal or agreement.
- Use the Wispli app for Windows or the Wispli Assist browser extension (the “Wispli apps”).
If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it. Our privacy policy at https://wispli.com/privacy explains how we handle personal data.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights that Egyptian law gives you and that cannot be limited by contract, including your rights as a consumer.
Using the website
You are welcome to browse wispli.com and share links to it. Please do not:
- Copy or reuse its content, design or logo for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or our servers.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
The website describes our services in general terms. It is not an offer. What we do for you, and the price, are set in your proposal or agreement. We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is always complete.
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.
Working with us as a client
Every engagement is agreed in a written proposal or agreement that sets the scope, price and timeline. If it differs from these terms, the proposal or agreement prevails. These terms cover anything it does not.
Scope and changes
We do the work described in the scope. Work outside it, and changes you ask for, need written agreement first and may change the price and the timeline.
Timelines
We work to the timeline in the agreement. It depends on you giving us the information, content, decisions and access we need on time. If those come late, the timeline moves with them. We will tell you early if we see a delay coming.
Fees and payment
Fees are in Egyptian pounds, plus any taxes that apply (such as VAT), unless the agreement says otherwise.
You pay as the agreement sets out, for example a deposit, payments at milestones or a monthly fee. The running costs of third-party services, such as AI model usage, messaging or hosting, are charged as the agreement says.
If a payment is late, we will remind you. If it is still unpaid after the reminder, we may pause work until it is paid, after telling you in writing.
Your responsibilities as a client
To keep the work successful and lawful, you agree to:
- Give us accurate information and the access we need, and keep your own passwords and accounts secure.
- Give us, or ask us to process, only data you are allowed to use. You decide why and how your customers’ data is used, so you are responsible for having a lawful basis, informing your customers and getting the consents and licences Egyptian law requires, including under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. This matters most for sensitive data such as health data and children’s data, for marketing messages, and for transfers outside Egypt.
- Check what an agent prepares before you approve it on Ask me.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you use, such as messaging apps and social networks.
- Not ask us to build or run anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
- Tell us promptly if something looks wrong.
Our AI agents and tools are not a substitute for professional advice. At a clinic, for example, medical decisions must stay with qualified staff.
AI agents and gates
You decide what each agent may do. Every agent action passes a gate you set for that agent:
- Closed: the agent does not act.
- Ask me: the agent prepares the action and waits for your approval.
- Autopilot: the agent acts on its own within the limits you set, and reports what it did.
Gates can carry limits, such as spending caps. You decide the gate and limits for each agent and can change them.
When you approve an action, or put an agent on Autopilot, you authorise the actions it takes within that gate and its limits, and you are responsible for them towards your customers and others. Put an agent on Autopilot only for tasks you are comfortable to let it do without checking.
AI can make mistakes. An agent may misread a message, use wrong information or produce output that needs correcting. We build the gates and limits carefully, monitor the agents as agreed and fix the faults we find. If an agent acts outside its gate or limits because of a fault on our side, we will fix it promptly and we are responsible for it, subject to “Limits of liability” below.
Third-party services
Our work uses services from other companies, such as hosting, AI model providers, and messaging, email, payment and analytics platforms. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them. Some need accounts in your name, and you must accept their terms.
We choose these services with care, but we do not control them. We are not responsible for their outages, price or policy changes, or decisions such as suspending an account. If that happens, we will help you find a workaround or an alternative.
Hosting, support and backups
If we host your systems, where we host them and the support, response times, monitoring and backups we provide are as set in the agreement.
We take reasonable care to keep your systems available, secure and backed up, but no online service is free of interruptions. Planned maintenance and events outside our control can cause downtime.
Who owns what
Your data stays yours. That includes the data in your systems and the content you give us.
Once you have paid in full, you own what we create specifically for you under the agreement, such as your designs, content, and the custom code and settings we write for you. Until then, you may use it for the engagement.
We keep ownership of our own tools, platforms, agent designs, templates, code libraries and know-how, including improvements we make to them while working for you. Where they are part of what we deliver, you get a non-exclusive right to use them as part of that deliverable for as long as you use it.
Third-party and open-source components stay under their own licences.
We will name you as a client, or show your project in our portfolio, only with your permission.
Confidentiality and data protection
Each of us will keep the other’s confidential information private, use it only for the engagement, and share it only with people who need it and are bound to keep it confidential. This does not cover information that is public, that the other side already had, or that the law or a court requires us to disclose.
When we process personal data for you, we act as your processor under Egyptian law. We follow your written instructions, keep the data confidential and secure, help you answer requests from the people it is about, and tell you without delay about any breach, as the law requires. The details are in your agreement and our privacy policy.
These duties continue after the engagement ends.
Ending an engagement and getting your data back
Either of us can end an engagement as the agreement sets out. Either of us can also end it by written notice if the other seriously breaks the agreement or these terms and does not fix it within a reasonable time after being told.
When an engagement ends:
- You pay for the work done and the services provided up to the end date.
- We give you your data, and the deliverables you have paid for, in a common format within a reasonable time.
- If we host your systems, we help you move them to a provider of your choice, as agreed.
- After the handover, we delete your data from our systems, except copies the law requires us to keep.
The Wispli apps
The Wispli app for Windows offers voice-to-text transcription, formatting, translation, English coaching and voice control for creative apps. The Wispli Assist browser extension suggests comments and memes.
You need an account to use them, and you must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us straight away if someone else uses your account.
Plans
- Free: up to 600 words a day and 2,500 words a week.
- Pro: USD 12 a month or USD 108 a year.
- Enterprise: USD 25 per user a month or USD 240 per user a year, for 3 to 10 seats.
Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew until you cancel. Lemon Squeezy sells the subscription to you as merchant of record and handles the payment and any tax. The checkout shows the full amount before you pay. We never see your card details.
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change. The new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on purchases and renewals. If you are not satisfied, email [email protected] from your account email within 14 days of the purchase or renewal, and we will refund the amount you paid. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
After 14 days, payments are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
If Egyptian consumer protection law gives you stronger rights, such as a shorter time for the refund, those rights apply.
Acceptable use
When you use the Wispli apps, you must not:
- Use them for anything illegal.
- Process content that infringes other people’s rights, such as copyright.
- Try to reverse engineer or extract the AI models behind them.
- Use bots or other automated means to abuse the service.
- Share your account with others.
- Get around usage limits or billing.
- Upload or spread malware or other harmful code.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Your content
What you dictate, write and create with the apps is yours. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide the service, for example by sending audio to Groq for transcription and text to Google Gemini. You are responsible for your content and for how you use the results, including the comments and memes you post.
We may change and improve the apps’ features over time.
Disclaimers
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise particular business results, such as a number of leads, bookings or sales.
AI output, including transcriptions, translations, suggestions and agent actions, can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check it before you rely on it, especially where it matters.
To the extent Egyptian law allows, the website and the Wispli apps are provided as they are, without promises beyond those in these terms or your agreement.
Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, failures of third-party services, natural disasters or government action.
Limits of liability
Our total liability to you for all claims about our services or the apps is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
We are not responsible for:
- Loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the agreement was made.
- Actions you approved, or allowed on Autopilot within the gates and limits you set, unless a fault on our side caused them.
- Failures of third-party services we do not control.
- Loss caused by wrong information you gave us, or by your breach of these terms.
These limits do not apply to loss caused by fraud or gross error, to harm caused by an unlawful act, or anywhere else Egyptian law does not allow a limit, including consumers’ rights under the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes, we will tell clients and app users by email or in the app before they take effect.
Changes do not alter a signed proposal or agreement unless we both agree in writing. For the Wispli apps, if you keep using them after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you. If you do not agree, you can cancel.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any agreement made under them, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
If a dispute arises, tell us about it in writing at [email protected] and we will both try in good faith to settle it. If we cannot, the competent courts of Cairo will decide it.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the right to complain to Egypt’s Consumer Protection Agency.
If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
Language
These terms and our privacy policy are published in English and Arabic, and both say the same thing. If they ever differ, the Arabic version prevails.
